Freudenberg & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft (Freudenberg or ‘the group’) is a provider of services and products to the automotive, oil and gas, textile, mechanical engineering, and apparel industries. The company manufactures filters, vibration control technology components, and seals. The group also produces nonwovens and surface treatment products, release agents and specialty lubricants, mechatronics, and medical technology products. Freudenberg provides customer services in commercial vehicles, automatic passenger cars, plant engineering, and textile and apparel. Freudenberg covers four business areas: seals and Vibracoustic control technology; Technical Textiles and filters; specialties and others; and Home and Cleaning Solutions.

The business area of vibration control technology and seals comprises four business areas: Freudenberg sealing technologies, Freudenberg oil-gas technologies, EagleBurgmann and Vibracoustic. Freudenberg sealing technology is a global supplier and service partner to customers in the automotive, civil aviation, and shipbuilding sectors. Products include diaphragms, simmering, and high-precision molded parts such as dust boots, hydraulic accumulators, and bellows. It supplies seals for hydraulic or pneumatic applications, including silicone and frame gaskets. NOK-Freudenberg Group China, a joint venture of the Japanese NOK Corporation (and Freudenberg), is an equal-share joint venture.

Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies offers a range of seal products and solutions to the oil and gas industry. EagleBurgmann, an industrial sealing technology company, manufactures and markets a wide range of seals. These include mechanical seals as well as gas lubricated seals and carbon floating ring seals. Magnetic couplings and seal supply system, stuffing box packaging, flat gaskets, and expansion joints. Vibracoustic supplies and vibration modules and components for the global automotive market. These products reduce vibration and noise and increase ride comfort and safety.
