It has three segments: Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing and Services, and Healthcare Insights and Analytics. The following divisions make up the Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing and Services segment: Critical Care, Pharma Solutions, Consumer Products Services, Imaging, and Imaging.

Financial Services offers a full range of financial products that can be tailored to the needs of customers. Healthcare Insights and Analytics provides invaluable insights for life sciences companies, as well as healthcare providers and payers, through a variety of high-value-added data and analysis, research reports, and knowledge-based services. The company was established in Mumbai, India on 26 April 1947.

Piramal Glass Ltd. (flaconnage) is a worldwide specialist in the design, manufacture, and decoration of glass packaging. Globally, we are the leader in glass packaging solutions for businesses like Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics & Perfumery, Specialty Food & Beverage, and Specialty Food & Beverage. Under the internationally recognized brand of “Piramal”, we offer complete glass packaging solutions in more than 50 countries.

We have our design and production footprints in the USA, India, and Sri Lanka. We have a total capacity of 1475 tonnes per hour, with 12 furnaces, 65 production lines, and a total production capacity of 1400 tonnes. To meet the needs of our customers worldwide, our manufacturing facilities offer the best in class in technology, design, layout, and layout. Our offices and warehouses are located in France, Germany and Turkey, Spain, the USA, and Brazil. We also have facilities in the UK, China, Sri Lanka, India, UAE, and the UK.

Manufacturing Base

Piramal Glass is able to meet growing demands for its products because of its strong manufacturing capabilities. There are four manufacturing plants, one in India and one in the USA. The total production capacity is 1,375 TPD. The Kosamba plant in India produces glass vials and bottles USP of Types I, II, and III models for the pharmaceutical industry. Type III glass bottles are used in the cosmetics and perfumery industries. It also makes feeder-colored bottles in many shades. It also produces Type-I borosilicate glasses for molded pharmaceutical packaging.

The company’s Jambusar, India facility produces amber and flint containers for the Pharmaceuticals sector. Type III flint bottle for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and perfumery industries; as well as specialty food and beverage. The company’s Park Hills facility in the US produces Type III amber and flint glass bottles. In Sri Lanka, the Horana facility produces Type III amber and flint glass bottles for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and perfumery industries. It can produce Type-I, II, and III amber, flint, and vials molded amber, glass containers, and Type-I, III, and IV flint bottles.
